Baldwin Appliance is a local, family owned business that was founded in 2013 but our senior technician has been serving Baldwin County since the late 90's. We love to solve your problems and get you back up and running as quickly as possilbe. We offer affordable rates and friendly service.
We are a small company so we typically work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We also know that you may not be able to fit into that schedule so we try to be flexible in figuring out a way to get your appliances back up and running again. We are happy to provide you with as much warning as possible, keeping in mind that we cover a large area and each technician will service 8-12 customers per day.
We typically schedule service calls between 8-12 and 12 to 4, although it is not unusual for us to be able to arrive in the 7:00 hour so our customers can get to work.
Often times, customers will have a family member or friend meet us if they are unable to get time off work. Sometimes they will let us in remotely or leave a key for us, especially if they are a returning customer and familiar with our technicians.
We typically require a legal adult be present if anyone is in the home...we don't like entering a home if only minors are present.
We service all of Baldwin County, AL as well as all of Escambia County, Florida. In addition, we cover Atmore and Brewton one or two days a week.
Our service call rate is $106 for most areas and most appliances. This includes the first 30 minutes of diagnosis. We charge $126 for remote areas such as Ono Island, Bay Minette, Molino and further north as well as the Western part of Ft. Morgan Rd.
Our labor rates are $60 per hour for normal part installation. You are not charged another service call if we need to come back with parts.
Our labor rates for sealed system parts(compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.) are $400 for the first 2 components and $100 for each additional component.
We offer a variety of services, all centered around major home appliances. In addition to repairing your appliances, we also can install dishwashers, cooktops and ranges, gas appliances, vent hoods and microwaves. In most cases we will be a little more expensive than if you paid for a big box store to send out one of their subcontracotrs but we typically will provide better service because we care about your appliances.
We are happy to come and clean your refrigerator coils, install water filters, clean between the glass of your oven doors and clean the lint out of your dryer. In most cases, we refer out dryer duct cleaning at this time but we may offer the service in the future.
We are one of the few service companies in the area to provide sealed system work, especially with the new R600 refrigerant.
