Our pricing plan is simple: $5 per month membership fee and $1 per appliance that you would like to cover. With our service plan, all service call and labor costs are covered and you receive a significant discount on parts. Compressor replacements, washing machine transmission repair, wall oven computer boards or even water filter replacement. It is all covered. Yes! We offer referral discounts. Receive one month free every year for each person that you refer who maintains a Baldwin Appliance Service Plan. So if you refer 12 people and they all join, you will never pay for appliance repair labor again...just pay for parts and your copay. Discounts are given based on the number of appliances registered for the program so if you have a lot of appliances and the people you refer only have a few, you may not receive a full month off for that referral. In the same way, if you only have a few appliances registered and the people you refer have a lot of appliances, you may receive more than a month discount.

Pre Existing Conditions

Right now we are preparing to launch this new service and are currently in pre-sale. You will not be billed or charged until the program launches. Once the program launches, all pre-existing appliance issues will be grandfathered in. After the initial launch, however, there will be a waiting period for new members to be able to call for service. We are offering this service plan at a very low price and are looking for long term relationships.

Limited Membership

While we would love to be able to offer Baldwin Appliance Service Plans to everyone, we don't have the staff to be able to handle everyone. We are limiting the number of members so that we can devote the appropriate amount of time to each and every service call. Once the rolls are filled up, you won't be able to get in until we open up another enrollment. And we won't be opening up a second enrollment until we are confident our staff can handle more work. We have kept the price so low that there is very little risk and virtually anyone can try it.

Any appliance that you enroll into the program is covered and any repair is covered including freon related repairs. Laundry products, kitchen appliances, ice machines, garage refrigerators and freezers, gabage disposals and even tankless water heaters!

Parts

You will be responsible for paying for any parts and supplies needed for repairs. But you will pay the wholesale cost which is typically significantly less expensive than retail.

Extra muscle

As far as labor, the only thing that is not covered is if we need to bring in additional help to move your appliance. In our many years of business we have found that it is very rare to need to bring in additional help, but occasionally it is necessary for the safety of your appliance and home as well as the safety of our technicians.

Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. If parts are discontinued or you simply decide to replace your appliance, we will provide expert information to help you navigate your options for replacement. We do not sell appliances but deal with them every day. We are aware of many of the current issues and can help you make an informed decision.

Factory Authorized Brands

We cover most major brands of home appliances. If you are experiencing a problem with one that is still under manufacturer warranty, give us a call and we will be right out. If we are factory authorized for that appliance you will NOT be charged the $20 deductable as the manufacturer will cover all the repairs. In addition, we will be able to find out if you have any recalls on your appliance or any service updates that should be performed.

Brands we don't cover

While we work on all brands, we are not factory authorized for all brands. If you have a problem with a covered appliance, give us a call. For the $20 deductable, we will be right out to see if there is something simple that can be done. We service all brands of appliances. We are Factory Authorized and have extensive experience with the brands listed below. Factory Authorized simply means that we have access to manufacturer technical data and can order free parts for your appliance if something should fail during the manufacturer's warranty period. In addition, we have access to all manufacturer recall information and we are able to process parts that have longer warranty coverage.

Our service hours are from early in the morning until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends are considered an emergency call and an additional fee will apply. We are happy to work around your schedule within some limitations and we often run calls early in the morning before customers need to leave for work. We are also happy to work out a way to gain entry into your home if you feel comfortable to have a friend or family member meet us there or even leave us a key or door code. We do require that a legal adult be present if anyone is home(we don't run calls when only minors are present).

We do offer emergency service for an additional fee. This will vary depending on your location and the time of day. The biggest emergency is typically a refrigerator or freezer going down. If this ever happens, the most important thing to do is to save as much food as possible using coolers and ice. Even if a technician is able to come out in the middle of the night, the chance that a repair could be made without a part are getting smaller and smaller. 20 years ago there were many universal parts that we carried on our vans but the age of computers has made it so that there are virtually no universal parts.

Free Loaner Appliances

No more worrying about that deer meat out in the garage. We stock freezers, refrigerators, washers and dryers to offer to our customers(subject to availability) free of charge for up to a month should parts be on backorder. No more trips to the laundromat or living out of coolers if container ships get stuck off the coast!
